Sri Lanka Financial Sector Computer Security Incident Response Team (FinCSIRT), formally known as “BankCSIRT” was established in 2014 as a project initiated by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL), Sri Lanka Bankers Association (SLBA) and Sri Lanka Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Centre (Sri Lanka CERT | CC). LankaPay Pvt Ltd, which operates the Sri Lankan Payment Network, was invited to host FinCSIRT as an independent unit.
